*I read that back and it sounds a little tiny bit like I repeat the same demo lesson. I’ve actually never repeated a demo lesson. The file just keeps getting better. I think I’ve used a lesson made for a demo in a class done between courses, etc. but I always plan my demo lesson anew right before teaching it. Or should I say overplan it anew. ;P
Packing too much in is a problem I have with demo lessons as well. I always go in with the sense that I have to set off pyrotechnics and walk out wishing I’d been more grounded.

Yay, I was hoping someone out there might be able to relate! You put it really well: the pretense of pyrotechnics. You’d think I could see right through it and all, but when it comes to these demos I’m like a moth to the flame.
